Education at The Church of the Good Shepherd is intended to instruct the young, engage the adults and guide all of God's people to the life God would have each live. There are opportunities for all ages. We welcome you to explore and find the path that is right for you.

Nursery
Infants and toddlers are welcomed in the nursery on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to noon.

Youth
Our young people are involved in all aspects of worship. They find fulfillment as acolytes, presenters, readers and as a part of the multimedia team. Those attending Godly Play join the adults in the Communion part of the Sunday worship service.
Children
Godly Play is faith formation for children age three to twelve.
Sacred stories from the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament), the guiding parables of Jesus and liturgical action stories are told. The children are encouraged to respond through many art materials.

Adult Education
The Adult Faith Formation hour units cover a variety of topics throughout the year, featuring guest speakers and timely themes of interest. These workshops will be announced in the Bulletin and Shepherd's Crook.
Bible Study
All are welcome to join the study of the Word and to share in food and fellowship.
- The Sunday morning group meets between services, 9:15 to 10:15 in the parish hall. This group discusses the scripture lessons for the day. Different Bible versions are shared, and the Commentaries on the Revised Common Lectionary from the Anglican Diocese of Montreal are used as supplemental guides. The Commentaries are found at www.montreal.anglican.org/comments/. Whether joining the Sunday morning group or studying at home, these readings are helpful to prepare for Sunday's Bible readings.
- The Thursday morning Bible study group meets in the parish hall from 10:30 A.M. until noon.
- Other groups meet in members' homes. Call the church office for times and places.
