Vacation Bible School - August 3 - 7

Vacation Bible School will run from Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Children ages 3-11 years old are invited to attend. The theme will be Pennies For Peace based on the bestseller, Three Cups of Tea. We will travel in spirit to the mountains of Pakistan and Afghanistan and share the lives of the children there. We will also learn how small acts of kindness, the size of a penny, can help change the world. A simple supper will be provided and parents will be invited to the Friday night potluck and play. Registration forms are available in the church office or in the church entryway. If you have any questions, you can the church office at 253 839-6100.

Annual Labsterfest - September 12 5:00 - 7:00p.m.

The Ninth Annual Good Shepherd Lobsterfest is coming! Mark your calendars and save the date of September 12, 2009 for this annual parish Good Time! The dinner, with all the trimmings will be held from 5:00 – 7:00p.m. in the parish hall. The cost is $27.00 for lobster only, $32.00 for lobster or ribs and $40.00 for lobster and ribs.  Bring your family and friends for this not to be missed occasion. Can’t make the event? Order your “to go” lobsters for pick up between 3:00 – 5:00p.m. on September 12. Prepaid orders will be accepted any Sunday following both services or can be mailed to the church office. Orders must be placed by September 4, 2009.
