Pastoral Care
The goal of the Pastoral Care Team is to be a spiritual presence of prayer and practical assistance to members of the congregation by the clergy and parishioners who feel called to this ministry. All are welcome to join. Meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 10:30 A.M. in the gathering room in the office building. Please direct questions to the Rev. Esther Poirier or the Rev. Vivian L. Hopkins.
The volunteers in the Pastoral Care Ministry respond to the needs of parishioners including home visits, providing communion to those who cannot attend services, taking food to the sick and visiting those in the hospital.
The Greeting Card Ministry makes and sends cards to congratulate, celebrate, and send wishes as requested by parish families. The group meets in the gathering room in the office building on the first Thursday of each month at 1:00 P.M. to make cards and other special creations.
